Micro Landscapes - Lisa will be your guide for two cool classes (pun intended)! First, you'll learn to create amazing, micro landscapes with polymer clay. It's like combining sculpting and painting together and showcasing it on a miniature canvas. The canvas will be bezel settings that you'll receive in your class kit. Finally, Lisa will demo the option for capturing your mini masterpiece under a glass-like finish, using her quick-cure, UV resin, Magic Glos. Students will have the chance to do this for themselves if they so choose during their free ime, outside of class.
Anticlastic Forms - In your next session with Lisa, you will learn how to create an anticlastic Abacus Oyster ring with kinetic pearl, bead, and/or crystal elements that dance up and down while wearing. Learn static crimping and receive access to a bonus video tutorial for soldered ends. We'll play with layers of color and other effects towards your wearable artwork. Both classes offer skill sets that can be adapted to other creations.
for working with tiny clay elements - sculpting with small clay components to create flowers native to Alaska! You'll discover the right tools to manipulate tiny amounts of clay to form various shapes and effects that create miniature gardens in small settings.
