POLYMER PARADISE WORKSHOPS

While you cruise in luxury, you'll have a chance to take workshops with some of the most talented and world renowned polymer clay artists around.

Beginners will learn tips and techniques that will advance their skills at an unbelievably accelerated pace in just a few short days. More experienced crafters will get the chance to learn new techniques and tips that will take their creativity to new heights and jumpstart their artistic energy. Those wishing to learn even more should make sure not to miss any of the free demonstrations by the experts in the workroom.

If all this isn't enough, those wishing to work some more can enjoy the workroom on days in port or during the free-play times.

Each participant will receive a "Goodie" bag filled with class supplies and product samples valued at over $250, exceeding the cost of the workshop package. Hardware Dolls with Barbara McGuire

Dolls are delightful! Whether you cherish them as totems, decorative arts or adornment they embody the feminine spirit. This project allows you to create one or more dolls to express your innermost desires. You'll learn how to make great molds as well as color and shading techniques.

Foil Collage/ Patterning with Lisa Pavelka

Learn how to apply vibrant foils to polymer clay and manipulate them to create limitless patterns for faux dichroic affects and the look of detailed art glass. Discover both raw and cured foil enhancement and shape technique as well as foil layering method.

Student's will also get the chance to learn how to work with Lisa's UV resin. At least one completed pendant will be done is class.

Steampunk Seahorse with Christi Friesen

Steampunk is a fun look and adds a whole new level of embellishment possibilities to polymer clay sculpture.  In this class we will create a steampunk seahorse using vintage gears and other embellishments. We will also learn how to make faux metal and leather, as part of the design.  Emphasis is on sculptural techniques, composition and mixed media accents.  No matter what your skill level, this class will get your creative gears turning!

Sepia Shadow Caning and
Pendant with Jana Roberts Benzon

Be one of the first to learn Jana's technique for Sepia Shadow Canes. You will make a cane of your own and make a lovely pendant.

In addition, Jana will demonstrate how to make a pendant and some beads for your later use. This super fun class is brand new and has only been taught to a select few.
